CHAIRPERSON - LAWYER JOYCE AGYEMANG ATTAFUAH (MRS.)
Mrs. Joyce Agyemang Attafuah is the Board chairperson of the Company. She is a Barrister-At-Law and a Partner at Kulendi, Amponsah & Attafuah @ Law, Accra. Her working career spans almost two decades and include Marketing Officer and Sales & Exhibition Manager at State Insurance Company, and prior to that, Customer Service Manager and then Bookshop Manager. She was also a Teaching Assistant at the Department of Geography and Tourism, University of Cape Coast.
She is a board member at Bulk Oil Storage & Transportation Company (BOST), a Legal Aid Board member, a Council member on University for Development Studies Council, and a Board member of BOSTV PUMPUNI TERMINAL LIMITED. Again, she serves on the Board of Kookopa Company Limited. She plays leadership and community participation roles as Assemblywoman (Government appointee) at Asante Akyem South District Assembly, Juaso and deputises Coordination of events and developmental projects. She is a member of Asante Professionals Club. Mrs Attafuah also holds membership in the Ghana Bar Association, Justice & Human Rights Institute, Legal Outreach Team, Ghana School of Law, Makola, Civets Ghana and Focus on Africa Society.
Mrs Attafuah holds a B.L. (Barrister-At-Law)-Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana)-Ghana School of Law, Accra and Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Geography with Economics and a Diploma in Education from the University of Cape Coast.
DR. RICHARD AMOAKO BAAH
Dr. Baah lectured at KNUST and was the Head of Department of History and Political Studies. Before this position he was the Head, Department of Political Science at South Texas College and then Director of Transfer and Arbitration.
He was one time the Associate Dean of Knoxville College – Morrison, USA and Facility Grievance Officer. Dr. Baah has commendable business experience in Publishing, having had encounters with Texas Bizz, Internet Auction Company and Workers Alliance Financial Services. He was the Project Manager for Equity Associates where he supervised US Government 8A minority contracts and also an inventor with US Patent in Fuel Filter/Dryer. Dr. Amoako Baah holds a PhD, Master of Arts and B.A. (Hons) in Political Science from the University of Tennessee.
MR. KWESI K. ASANTE
3.1 Mr. Asante is a Manager Partner at Soul Restaurant & Bar Ltd, East Legon. Prior to that, he was the Business Development Manager for Engineering & Logistical Service (ELS), Ablemkpe-Accra. He had previously worked as Radiologic Technologist (Interventional and Pain Management) at the Brooklyn Hospital Centre, USA.
Mr. Asante holds a Bsc. (Applied Science) from City University of New York.
MR. CHARLES FRIMPONG MANSOH
Mr. Frimpong has since 1984 worked at SSNIT in various capacities including Properties Officer in charge of managing residencies, Resident Estate Officer for Adenta & Dansoman SSNIT Flats and Benefits clerk and Inspector of Contribution payments. He was the Acting Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Hostels Limited (on secondment from SSNIT) until March 2018.
Mr. Frimpong Mansoh has a Master of Arts in Ministry, from Ghana Baptist University College and a Diploma in Estate Management from KNUST.
MR. JOHN OWUSU MENSAH
John started his career in the Insurance consulting practice of Hymans Robertson in London, UK as an Actuarial Analyst where he developed his technical skills in the actuarial aspects of defined benefit pensions.
He joined Mercer Consulting in the defined benefit pension consulting practice in Chicago after graduate studies in the USA, and subsequently moved to Watson Wyatt in Washington DC before joining Humana in Louisville, where he developed special skills health care product development and provider network discount analysis.
He moved to Prudential Financial in Hartford, Connecticut as an Actuarial Consultant in the retirement income strategy group thereafter.
Upon returning to Ghana, He has been focused in both the business and actuarial aspects of the insurance and pensions market, where he has worked for Munich Re as business development executive for West Africa, as Chief Manager of Provident Life Insurance and Provident Life Trust. John was instrumental in setting up Allianz Life where he was also the chief operating officer. He now involved in consulting and business strategy advising mainly insurance companies and on employee benefits, including pensions for Global Actuarial Partners, which he founded with his partner.
John is a graduate of the City University in London and also holds a masters degree in Actuarial Science and Risk management from Temple University in the USA
DR. KWAME AMPOFO KUSI
Dr. Kusi is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Hostels Limited. Prior to taking this position, he was the Chief Executive Officer of UniSecurities Ghana Ltd, having worked as Head of Operations and Ag. Managing Director of SIC Financial Services Ltd.
He worked also at SDC Finance Company as General Manager, Brokerage Services, having previously worked as Senior Manager and Head of Corporate Finance & Research at NTHC Limited. Before joining NTHC, Dr. Kusi worked at Social Security & National Insurance Trust as Corporate Finance Officer and later as Deputy Head of Treasury.
Dr. Kusi holds a PhD in Finance from University for Graduate Studies in Management, Monarch Business School, Switzerland, MSc. in Banking & Finance from The Institute of banking - University of Lausanne, Switzerland, MBA from London South Bank University, U.K. and a B.Sc. (Hons) Computer Science from KNUST. He is a certified Treasury Analyst and a fellow of Global Finance & Management, U.K. He served on the Board of Bank of Ghana, Ghana Waste Recycling Limited and served on the Board of UMB Bank.
