Dr. Kwame Ampofo Kusi - Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Kusi is an investment banker by profession. He has over twenty years of experience in the fields of investment banking, strategic management, Treasury management, Financial analysis and valuations, and Fund Management. He worked as the Chief Executive of uniSecurities GH. Limited until 2016, having had prior working experience as the Head of Operations with SIC Financial Services Limited. Dr. Kusi also worked as a General Manager at SDC Finance after working with NTHC Limited as Head of Corporate Finance & Research. His work experience include a seven-year stint with Social Security & National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) as a Corporate Planning officer and later as Deputy Head of Treasury.
He served as Board member on Bank of Ghana Board and was also the sub-committee chairman for Auditing and a sub-committee member of the Strategic Planning & Budget until 2017. Dr. Kusi also served as a Board member on the Board of UMB Bank. He holds a PhD in Finance (Financial Economics) from the University for Graduate Studies-Monarch Business School, Switzerland, a M.Sc. Banking & Finance from the University of Lausanne, Switzerland, a Master of Business Administration from London South Bank University, and a B.Sc. Computer Science from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology. He is a Certified Treasury Analyst and has a number of publications to his credit.
Ms Gloria Ofori - Appiah - Operations Manager
Gloria has over twenty-three years working experience with the Social Security & National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) in the areas of Estate Maintenance, Properties Management, and Prosecutions. Currently on secondment from SSNIT, she is the Operations Manager for Ghana Hostels Limited.
She has a Diploma in Estate management from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology, Executive Masters in Governance & Leadership from GIMPA and LLB from Mountcrest University College.
Mr. Osmond Kwashie - Head of Finance
Osmond Kwashie is the Head of Finance of Ghana Hostels Limited. Prior to holding this position, he was the Head - Internal Audit and Compliance. Prior to joining the company, he was the Internal Audit Manager of Postal and Courier Services Regulatory Commission, an affiliate to the Ministry of Communications. He previously worked as the Head of Audit and Compliance at Blue Rose Limited and Bawjiase Area Rural Bank respectively.
Osmond started his audit career with Kwesie and Partners (Chartered Accountants) and moved on to Halaoui and Kan (Chartered Accountants) as Audit Manager.
He has attended courses, seminars, training and executive programs. Some of them include Financial Modelling and Forecasting, Fraud Investigations and Detections, Credit Management, Risk Management, AML/FTC Compliance Conferences (both local and international), IFRS workshop by ICA (GH) and Internal Controls, among others.
Osmond brings on board over Ten (10) Years combined experience and exposure in Audit and Accounting practice. He is a graduate of the University of Cape Coast, holds an MBA - Finance from Sikkim Manipal University - India and ACCA finalist. Osmond is a Business Consultant in private.
Sylvester Ameyka – Facility Manager, UCC
He is the Facility Manager for Ghana Hostels Limited Cape Coast Campus. Sylvester has worked with the Company since 2003. He holds a first degree in Tourism.
Philip Yemo-Facility Manager, KNUST
He is the Facility Manager for the KNUST campus branch of Ghana Hostels Limited since 2011 and has been with Ghana Hostels Limited since 2003. He holds HND in Marketing.
Alhassan K. Nabila-Facility Manager, UDS
The Facility Manager for Ghana Hostels Limited University for Development Studies campuses at Nyankpala and Navrongo. Mr. Nabila has worked with Ghana Hostels Limited since 2003. He holds HND in Management certificate.
Godfried Narh-Facility Manager,UEW
He is the Facility Manager for the University of Education, Winneba campus of Ghana Hostels Limited. Mr. Narh has since 2002 been an employee of Ghana Hostels Limited. He holds RSA Stage II in Auto Mechanics from Accra Technical Training Center (ATTC).
Laari Amos-Facility Manager, University of Ghana Campus (Pentagon)
He is currently the Facility Manger for the Legon facility and hold a first degree in Marketing.
